It has been booting me out today as well, came on here to see if anyone else is in the same boat. Between that and random video engine instability I am really struggling to make deadline!

I have 2 and they are a HUGE step up from my 5.1's in terms of power. Only beef is that neither can record at buffers below 128 without crazy spiking. It is a Protools/M1 issue and may one day get...

I agree that it is potentially a Rosetta thing but I guess time will tell. I have been meaning to update this thread actually - I now have a 16gb mini as well and it is much more stable at low buffer...

HI, it's 256GB - about half full currently. Recording to the boot or to an external has no effect on the issue. Doesn't really feel like a hardware or overhead problem, GUI stays snappy during the...

Lots of good suggestions here, thanks all. Tried launching without plugins, disabling AVE, HEAT, peripherals, changing record drives and any number of other things with no change. Activity monitor...

Chalked this up to running unsupported 2021.3 but still the same in 2021.10 Ultimate. With even the simplest 1 audio track 48k session and no plugins, recording at a buffer below 128 causes CPU...

SOLD - Ilok with 9, 10, HD9 and HD10

This is an ilok 2 with just the 4 assets on it. I do not have access to the account so can not transfer them, the assets live on the ilok only. Bought it that way years ago, and it has served me well...
