I kind of doubt that they're related at this point. The problem has been narrowed down to Google screwing things up for people who have SIP disabled. Today, Avid Cloud appears to be non-functional.

LSNY is exactly right. I use it the same way when I record myself, and sometimes when recording other musicians. The only reason I didn't notice the bug sooner is that I do mostly radio production...
