yea ive been running 2 monitors with some plugins like meter stuff in the non-protools space. When I read the update I imagined that melodyne could move out of protools space like plugins.

UPDATE : I ultimately gave up on the new version of protools. I reverted back to 2021.6 and copy pasted my old plugin folder back in and it works perfect.

well the problem is back. Was fine for a number of sessions. Can't totally make sense of what is causing it, too many moving factors. I went back to a mix session that was problematic last week...

I uninstalled everything avid related, deleted all avid folders everywhere. Fresh install, slowly re-installed plugins checking along the way. So far so good. Thanks

yes tried everything.

15 seconds to add a plugin. Not loading on protools start up but in the session while working. Just spins and eventually loads. Really messes with flow.

It's not every plugin or every time, haven't found an obvious pattern to it, but some sessions seems to just start doing this randomly. Can be anywhere from maybe 5 second delay to maybe 15-20 max. ...

yes running as admin. Funny thing is I wasn't running as admin in 2020.12 and never had an issue but was having firmware update issues installing so set 2021 to run as admin, now its not working. ...

Just noticed I can't drag and drop audio in from my computer into protools anymore. I can import using import audio. Anyone notice this with 2021.3? On a PC w10 over here. Might not be an issue...
