There is a section on tonymacx86 with G5 Mods. The g5 case is great...plenty of space. I couldn't stand those PC gamer cases with lights etc... I've made two and I'm selling this one with the Pro...

I have tried today to install 10.7.4 and 10.8 on the GA-h55-USB3

On 10.8 I got error -9162 and pro tools wouldn't start - not sure about it but this is the latest OS not yet...

Yes my build was successful on Jetway hack - I have a HD3 running very well on 10.6.8 - I have SSD and i7-2600k - this thing is fast and stable

PT HD10 runs like a breeze on Lion. That's why I want to get it working so much...

I didn't know the Gigabyte GA-H55-USB3 runs well with Pro Tools cards, might be a better MOBO for a HD3 system...

I think jeremyroberts has HD2 running - I've read (perhaps on this same thread) that HD3 will not run. But there is no real reason why and HD3 should work on SL but not on Lion, right ? I have a HD3...
