I tried that with the crash issue in 12.8.1 and it still persisted, yeah. We and the tech support guys tried going back to the earliest version there was in AAX format.

Interestingly, I'm seeing new issues with Guitar Rig 5 in 12.8.1 and 12.8.2. They don't make it crash right away, but make it crash or freeze when quitting a session which used it.

I installed 12.8.2 on a freshly trashed set of prefs, but I will try restoring them again with PT Prefs.

As for Guitar Rig, I will try and see what I can work out with it, but it's an intermittent...
