Actually I`m not sure the minor problems has to do with the Impact Twin, but sometimes I have to close and reopen a session to monitor the output of Pro Tools.

I only got the Impact Twin today, but so far there has been no problems at all with Pro Tools 9.
The only difference between the two boxes is the number of inputs as far as I can see,...

Thanks for your reply. To be absolutely sure I downloaded the driver from Avid`s homepage, but it changed nothing. The driver is 1.0.11 - same as yours?

I think it`s maybe the wiring of the cable. If one of the connections has jumped of, the cable will pick up signals from the atmosphere like old guitars with unbalanced wiring.
