Yes i did as instructed. No 003 factory midi. I had to resort to an M-Audio usb controller

Yes it saw it no problem. my usb controller is plugged into one of the front usb ports. It is working perfectly.

The question on cores is very interesting. Funny thing is that PT in my opinion is not utilizing cores correctly. I may be wrong but in Apps like Logic and Sonar it shows a core meter for each core...

I can confirm that McDsp Analog Channel, MC2000, Waves SSL4000 ver 6 and Musician Tool Kit 2 ver 6 works great in PT9 Snow Leopard 10.6.4
