Thanks Pont, but I've already installed the dual core hotfix as well as the dual core optimizer from AMD... still experiencing problems. I do remember having hte problems you mentioned earlier...

Don, I checked the VRAM using dxdiag... I've got 256 meg of video memory.

I'm assuming you meant "video memory" by VRAM, and not "Virtual memory"..

Thank you, that solves the problem... I was wondering why a Digi database folder was appearing on my USB drive... now I know.. it's being considered a hard drive..

General Troubleshooting: WinXP/Pro Tools M-Pow

Just to double check... Processor Scheduling should be set to "Background Services"? That seems counter-intuitive to me, but what do I know.
