Having the same issue... seems like a lot are.

Why would you blame a routing issue? What would cause pops on stop that has to do with routing?

EDIT: can you post your machine specs by the way?

Also, if you find yourself screwed over by previously recorded noise, check out the Izotope RX plugs.. they do a good job of getting it out.

To figure out if your interface works with Pro Tools, the general rule of thumb is that interfaces that work on Core Audio and ASIO drivers are supported....

For that kind of performance, you'll almost definitely want fiber drives.. Anything else is just a headache.

What clock source are you using? I'm assuming you're using 192s?

An invalid clock source can cause pops and clicks.
