So I just finished editing a spoken word cd and realized after compressing the audio all the room tone I spliced in between words during the first 40 mins has a dog barking faintly in the background....

Jon, I had this same problem a few months ago with 6.4. It was after upgrading. Not sure why or how but reinstalling pro tools software did the trick for me. Hope this helps & good luck.

You could use the strip silence function to seperate all the hits and then quantize them. Hope this helps.
