Yeah I know the amount of mics is overkill, I've been chasing a 3D sound for so long. It's a combination of proper compression, air/slight ambience, pick nuance, finger sound, and have not too much...

Wooo! Life changing to go to 44.1k! Half the space and more cpu. My powers have doubled since we last met Count Dooku....

So 44.1 is much more widely used in studios?

Can I change my sessions to 44.1k after they've already been started at 88.2?

I haven't done a shootout but I thought 88.2 and 96 were the most common choices for standard recording after researching this topic

I'm relatively new to HD TDM and I've completely drowned the voice count so quickly.

Here's a usual session...

There are 4 mics on a guitar cab plus a di, so that's 5 voices for Guitar number...
