But when PT 9 & 10 were release, it was stated clearly STANDALONE ....

That's funny . . . . . I run 8.0.3 on Windows 7 with absolutely no problems . I tried 8.0.4 and it turned out to be a disaster, so I reverted back!!!!

Unfortunately, JL Cooper CS 10 support stops at PT 8.0.3 (possibly 8.0.4) . . . I personally have vowed not to update anymore. I spoke to a tech guy at digi and it doesn't seem like they are trying...

I found the answer to my own question concerning the 64 sample buffer . . . . It's in the hardware buffer setting . . . . . but I wonder which does better with latency? Low Latency Monitoring or 64...

I tried 8.0.4 and it happened to me also . . .I just went back to 8.0.3!!! I now wait for cs updates on new versions (upgrades) so that all kinks can be worked out.
