I appreciate knowing this problem is widespread and the wise obvious suggestion to go back to using the plugin format. This is frustrating in it's own ways, but way better than using the ARA mess....

It’s interesting that sound on the MBP system playback auto switches between headphone and speaker, but ProTools doesn’t see this? :confused:

I was able to get it to work finally. Not sure how and why... It's still a little weird. Sometimes it leaves the source file and creates a new one. Which makes matters worse in terms of storage...
