Heres a thought... there are vocalists that actually project a very high spm that can distort the diaphram of the mic... could be as simple as positioning.

I have used the keyboard since PT3.4 or is it 4.3? i can never remember. I just find it faster for dialogue and SFX editing. I dont think it makes me a power user, but maybe just old fashioned LOL....

wow does that work? in Mac it writes to the boot sector of the disk so you have to reformat to erase that code.

I cant remember, but did they load the 002r with Focusrite Platinum pre's? if so..they are no nonsense good pre's, but not like the red series. I rented an Avalon btw, OMG it was wayyy to easy for me...
