Gotta love the A1 analog vsti in SX. This is a really good quality softsynth. Some good plugs come bundled with SX also.

If you're going to do alot of midi and use softsynths, you're gonna love...

Never heard of sound replacer, but have a dm5 and have used it to trigger it's drum samples. SoundReplacer sounds very cool. Gonna check that out. Would this work with a stereo drum track? I have one...

Check out Battery from Native Instruments. This might do what you're after...works as a great drum sampler. You could build your own kit from live samples taken from your drums, then trigger in...

My main axe right now would be the 75 Gibson deluxe Les Paul with custom cut out deMarrzio pickups, 1 dual sound and the other is a super D.

Did have a Gibson L5, but that got stolen about 7...
