Well, I'm running 12.5 on 10.11.4, but on late 2015 iMac. I, too, still have the laggy GUI issue.

Sorry for the delay. It's the late 2015 model, Skylake processor. i5, 16 gig RAM, internal HD is good old fashion spinner(1TB), record to external Glyph drive(500GB). Using the TB to FW connectors.

I noticed that upon first opening 12.5. Switched to a local session, now when the dash pops up upon opening PT, it is on local session instead of project.
