I don't own a studio - I'm just a hobbyist, but I am kinda surprised that Avid doesn't mention up front, "hey you Win 7 folks will be disappointed with 10.1.2, or you Win 7 folks just need to wait X...

Wow - Avid sure doesn't make the Mac/Win difference in 10.1.2 update clear at all. Such a shame - you hear there's an update for both Native OS, you kinda expect they'll be the same offerings.

Thanks everyone. Looks like wherever I heard "30" jumped the gun - but 19 (up from 3) is a decent update. Looks like I'm doing an update tonight when I get home!

So - the 10.1.2 native update does include the AAX plugins (I thought I read "30" somewhere) that were already available to HD folks?
