Danander, your session file is corrupt on our end, too. I tried opening it in both 10.1.2 and 10.0. It fails in the same place on both, just after it starts building up the mixers.

That's actually not correct. The new plug-ins on Mac were introduced on 10.1, not 10.1.1 or 10.1.2. Only HDX users could use them on 10.1 but that's when they were introduced. They are Native as well...

There seems to be some confusion about what a maintenance release is. Maintenance releases are denoted with three numbers in the version, counting from the last feature release that the source code...

The maintenance updates (10.0.1, 10.1.1, 10.1.2) are only intended to fix bugs, not introduce new features.
