Seriously... Upgrading to 11 was probably the worst mistake I have made. I put it off for a year because I was waiting for plugins to get upgraded to AAX. The idea of the 64bit was the biggest reason...

Just an update. I wiped the HD and reinstalled OS10.10.1 and installed Protools 10.3 and HD driver 10.3. Seems to be working fine now. My guess is the 10.3.9 co-install was somehow conflicting.

This is fun. I installed 11.3 on two separate systems. Both systems are almost identical. Same plugin's, OS, etc. One is a MAC 4,1 the other is 5,1, both running OS10.10.1. Both ran 11.2.2 just fine....

I had this issue a few times in the past (PT10) after a freeze/crash/hard-restart. The only solution I had was to resit my HD Native Card into another PCIe slot and reboot.

This happens every time I duplicate a track via right clicking on the track and going to duplicate. So it's repeatable for me. This is on HD Native and HDX.

Easy temporary fix is after duplicating the track, make the output inactive and then reactivate it. It's quick if you use the shortcut keys and fixes makes the timing normal.

Amazingly, EVERY PROFESSIONAL engineer, producer or studio I know, hasn't switched to PT11. As a professional myself running two HD Native systems at our studio, I don't see it happening anytime...

EA sucks. The fidelity issues make it pretty much worthless for any professional engineer. Cut & fade or BD. Speed by SoundToys sounds really great for time-streching though.

The SSL website said to de-authorize the plugins before updating to PT10. Unfortunately, I didn't do this. BUT... if I am remembering correctly, I reinstalled the code meter and they started working...
