Im thinking still buy another laptop to pair it with mine.. i don't know if only one computer would let me have tons of VI's and play back/ record...

can I record the midi tracks in the logic computer and have them recorded as audio in the pt computer?
If possible, I'd like to monitor logic through the pt computer

same as you.. but 2.4ghz.. and having the same problems... i don't even want to start with bigger session if i know its not gonna work...
sometimes 2 eleven, 1 ez drummer is all it takes to screw...

I have a macbook (2.4.. 4GB) and using pro tools m-audio
it's been working "fine".. sometimes i get the CPU overload with not many tracks, specially when using plug ins like eleven or ez drummer.....

Hello,
I have M-Powered PT 8, but at school they have PT LE 7.4
I read in this forum that you're able to open a PT 8 file in a PT 7.4 as long as you don't use any of the new features of PT 8.....
