Re: An Open Letter to TC Electronics RE: TC Tools

For what it's worth, Spark XL still works on OS10.4.11, and allows use of the Powercore plug-ins on its matrix.
There was a fix suggested by T.C. a while ago concerning moving from Panther to Tiger...

Re: Best DVD/CD burner for G5, Pioneer 112d or Plextor premium

crizdee,
I asked the same question in other parts of the forum, and got a couple of replies. Search under CD/DVD Burner to find them.
My G5 2x2G is having problems with its burner, and I have...

Re: Bounces fail or disapear!

Spkguitar,
Only if you typed in BIG letters (that's a joke, I suppose). The answer about changing bounce sizes is a new one, but the frustration is that we may not know until an hour goes by and the...

Re: Bounces fail or disapear!

spkguitar,
Take your tongue out of your cheek, and say that again.
Those two answers are rather primitive, aren't they.
It's not as if we haven't tried those options, but it seems unlikely that ...

Re: Bounces fail or disapear!

TMD,
This probably won't help, but on my Mac G5 2x2G with 2.5G RAM, I sometimes have the same problem, and can overcome it by changing armund the buffer & CPU settings - it's hit or miss, but it...

Re: Spilled wine on my laptop...PT acting funky

I once offered some good French wine to my G4 667, and it sort of hiccupped, and didn't seem to get the point.
So, I entered its entrails and dried it out, and prayed to Bacchus, and said "In Vino...

Re: PT LE control surface

First, ziggy_me, sorry if I hijacked your thread, but some of the answers are valid for many of us.
Second, thanks to all who have answered my questions. The P&G DC16 was discontinued long ago, so...

Re: PT LE control surface

dubhausdisco1,
Thanks for the reply. My setup is a bit too big to go into all the details, but breifly: several keyboards, using the K2500 as the main kb, since it has a bank of faders and buttons,...

Re: PT LE control surface

big bubbaj,
I have tried that in the past, with no success, but will try again when I install 7.3. For the moment I'm on 7.0, since I had a big project to finish, and couldn't risk any possible...

Re: PT LE control surface

ziggy_me,
I have a similar complaint since PT7, and have never gotten a clear response. PT used to allow the Penny&Giles DC-16 as a controller, that worked perfectly for all aspects of a session....

around the...

Re: Penny & Giles DC-16

Hello again,
So, since it's obvious no one here has any ideas about this, is it possible that someone can tell me where to ask about this specific question?
Thanks,

Penny & Giles DC-16

Hello all,
Since the profile of the DC-16 is no longer supported by PT6.9.2, I'm wearing out my mouse muscles.
Does anyone know how to explain what is incompatible, or better yet, is there any way...

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll get to it tomorrow, since I'm anxious to see the difference in reactivity
and power between my Ti-book and my new G5. I was fairly sure that I...

Re: OS 10.3.3 and ProTools LE 6.2.3

Simple question (patience, please)
It seems that PT6.2.3 is working okay on OS10.3.3 for some of you, so I'd like to jump in as well. I've got a brand spanking new G5 2X2G with 2.5G RAM and 2HDs....

Re: Penny & Giles DC-16

Thanks for the reply, Mindnoise. I'll try to get a response, since it's a pain to have to go back to OS9.2.2 and PT5 just to use this fine controller. I guess PT and PG arehaving a lover's quarrel!...

No, there's nothing else to the message, which sent me looking for a quick
link to a full reference for all DAE error messages - for future use.
Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
