..yes I updated firmware per the instructions.. perhaps it didn't take? Wondering if there's a mechanism/hardware test to check the firmware is current?

...well it broke my system completely... fortunately I had preserved 2020.11 so I could easily roll back.

pro tools payback could not be started due to an engine reset, CPU overload, raise buffer,...

Ayush, I am wondering if your eGPU setup has helped mitigate the Mini fan noise. Otherwise, I have the same rig which I'm very pleased with it's performance -- but the fan noise is a problem.

Problem solved Jeff, I was running Dadman vs 5.3.4.3 which was the latest from DAD.. 5.4.2.1 did the trick (From Avid's page)

Out of the box MTRX Studio is seen on the network, but cannot connect. Connection Error Code: 0x80004005

Selecting DHCP crashes (or re-boots) unit but then same.

I tend to agree with LDS. For those of us HD Native users mixing docs, dramas, un-scirpted, etc.-- 36 bed channels (3x 7.1.4) and 16 object channels and 12 for monitoring seems more than adequate......

This is my experience as well...Reason, Spectrasonics are rock solid. BFD and Kontakt are completely unstable. And yes, Arturia is a disaster! The RTAS code is ten years old and buggy to it's core....

I'm getting this too--generally when changing midi playlists--not consistently though--and the session are super lean. This is a bug 4 sure.
