Re: Newly Installed Plug Ins don\'t appear in protools

Check under the AudioSuite menu...Its more than likely that they are NOT RTAS (Real Time AudioSuite) plug-ins.

If that is the case, in order to process using these, you will have to make an audio...

Re: ? about PT Hardware Interfaces

I'll second the Profire 2626 suggestion....So far that thing is great!! M-Audio did a nice job with both the interface and the DSP software mixer. It has a ton of routing capabilites, allows you to...

Re: Profire 2626 and Protools 7.4cs4

PTMP shows 26 for me as well, and at 44.1kHz I can see the 8 available from my slaved device.

SMUX allows 4 channels at 88.2kHz per ADAT I/O port, so I should have 4 on A, and 4 on B...Well in my...

Re: Profire 2626 and Protools 7.4cs4

The Profire 2626 has 2 sets of ADAT i/o and supports the SMUX II protocol allowing for higher resolution.

8 Channels at 44.1kHz and 48 kHz = 16 I/O
4 Channels at 88.2kHz and 96 kHz = 8 I/O
2...
