I talked to tech support over the telephone tonight and it was indeed a bad install disc! If anyone else has this problem, give tech support a call and they should be able to direct you to a download...

Hi,

I'm getting an install error for M-Powered 8 , error 2147213312.

Just bought the software from my local Guitar Center. Got the error on my desktop, and then tried to install it on my laptop...
