The new Avid “Carbon” interface, brought us Avid’s new “Hybrid Engine”.
DSP chips Like HDX (but fewer) can be utilized in new ways.

The Current-HDX Engine in the future will get this Hybrid...

Control Desktop S3 display?

Hi. Running a 4K 32” lowered to 2560 x 1440 display.

Anyone at that resolution with Control Desktop?

This sounds ideal for the S3.

Digitest is the only way I know to check firmware versions.

Maybe a new download-install will trigger the firmware install if it did’t take before.
Install-power shutdown-wait 10sec, startup.

Power needed. Although you selected HDX engine, it sees no voices.
Never used or tried without power connected.
Your other question will be power source.
What is you video card? 6, 8 or dual 6...

When turning EA on, open task manager to view the process.
Once the process is finished your pitch and time elastic audio will work.
If not the greater detail on you system may be needed.

No downgrade if you didn't upgrade.
Downgrade Pro Tools back to 2020-12.

If that still throws an error then may need to find another PC or Mac to get firmware straight.

However the firmware...

Worth noting is the rack version can open / add / remove cards without unplugging-all on backside as you’ll need to do with the tower version.

Workaround.
Put PT’s in background, finder/textedit in foreground.

Still can see Pro Tools but keyboard is for say, text edit- notes during recording.
