Thanks a lot for the help, still funny that I'll be using a USB hub with two empty thunderbolt ports sitting there, but this seems like the most cost effective solution. I also read, just to back up...

Definitely appreciate the help Mesaone, but from what I can tell, that device in the link is USB. I do get the jist of what direction you're pointing me though and thanks for you're help!

So you think I could run my interface out of one, and put a hub on the other and run my external hard drive, iLok, and mouse there? This would be a much cheaper solution than getting a Thunderbolt hub

thing is with the Thunderbolt hubs, they all seem to be over $200, and come with a bunch of other connectivity options when all I really want is a couple usb holes
