Re: How do you get the source file location for a timeline audio clip?
Open up a workspace browser window focused on the project (opt-o) and click the disclosure triangle on the audio files folder. Then when you select a clip in the edit window it will highlight that...

Re: Using buildings network for talkback and foldback?
This part of the question raises some flags; if "the building's network" means you're sharing existing network with non-audio data, you may have issues.
Of course, the "catapult" solution is...

Doesn't the 1st problem sound like hardware? Same problem others have run into with early units randomly centering pans (I think Bob K posted about a similar issue) - if multiiple tracks are...

Re: PT uses Backup drive audio instead of project drive
1. Backup drives should only be mounted when backing up (personally, I use TinkerTool to suppress mounting backup drives at startup and a script to mount them and run the backups at EOD).
2. ...

As someone else pointed out, you can probably cobble together a Keyboard Maestro command for this, but; you *do* know that there are 5 user-programmable presets in the fade dialog which can be...

Re: is it possible to import edit list from one sample rate to another?
I haven't personally done this, but I suspect if you made certain your root filenames (as opposed to clip names) are all unique, then you could import the edited 44.1 tracks into your 88.2 session...
