Re: CRANE SONG\'S PHOENIX- BOY DO I lOVE IT!!!!!!

Re: CRANE SONG\'S PHOENIX- BOY DO I lOVE IT!!!!!!

I think my point is valid,...

Re: TDM ADC not possible... oh really?

Is there any reason that in "mix" mode PT could use the host system's RAM to buffer every track a fixed amount, in the same manor as RTAS or HTDM? When a plug-in is inserted the mix ADC would simply...

Re: Know about RCA 77DX mics?

The 77 was one of the first directional ribbon mics. It uses a "labyrinth" chamber (basically a tube-not the electronic kind) to produce a delay which cancels the signal from the rear of the mic. ...

Manually De-activating Plug-ins

Is there a way to de-activate TDM plug-ins (free up DSP without losing settings). After comping tracks I'd like to maintain the insert points and plug-ins without having to resort to a "save as..."...

Re: Recording MIDI Controller 7 to a MIDI Track

This was Digi's response:

-CC# 7 is generally reserved for Volume on MIDI devices. In fact, this is exactly the value Pro Tools reserves for volume on all MIDI tracks. Therefore, the software...

Audio to MIDI plug in

It seems that auto-tune type technology could be used to create MIDI information from ProTools tracks (like Vision tried to do). Is anybody aware of development in this area?
