All that copying a file without errors means is there were no bit errors in reading the file from the drive. It doesn't mean the audio isn't corrupted in some way. You really don't have any concept...

Actually the mantra is the data isn't considered safe unless it's backed up in three separate places with one of which preferably kept offsite. Unfortunately my bank doesn't have any safe deposit...
