Don't hit stop, hit ESC. This stops the recording and deletes the take all in one. It also removes it permanently from the hard drive too.

Then just hit CTRL+SPACE to start recording again.

Thanks, it is an Ibanez AJ307 7 string with a Piezo and Fishman Prefix 3 band eq and vol controls. I absolutely love this acoustic. Nicest one I have ever played.

Stick with the FW set up. USB2 will not be faster. FW has a higher avg speed and is more consistant/stable then USB2.
