Yes, I've tried that in the past. However, that seems like an unnecessary step, since the Input AuxIO is carrying through. There must be a way for the Outputs to carry through as well, no?

Same behavior. It doesn't write any volume automation, but instead changes the volume of the entire timeline on that track.

Ma' boy Major just enlightened me on the solution.



Evidently the "Write all to selected blah blah" was LOCKED on! That mode can be toggled by "Option" clicking that mode on the automation...

Reboot didn't help. Actually might've made it worse. Control app shows first 8 tracks, but those tracks are not highlighted in the mix window as usual.

Do you use the D-command or D-control? you can set up a quick key in the soft key menu for users. Other then that there isnt a shortcut that I know of.

Yes I've discovered it is the Cedar plugin that is causing the issue. It is reminiscent of the Soundminer issue a while back with Leopard in that Rewire was not properly closing when Pro Tools closed...

My recommend would be to disregard the analog reading altogether. If they want a -24 dial norm you should provide that for them. Simply brick walling your mix to -12 in a digital domain does not...

This seems suspiciously like a case of: "My friend who took an audio class in college said that -20 equals 0VU. Therefore, no peaks over -20. Simple enuff!
