Upgrade to PT8.0.3 went fine...everything seems t work as it should (minus the fact that's heavier on my CPU)...but the cocking issu still remains...

I've tried to upgrade to cs10....no results. I may tray to install PT8 as I already have the license...but I may be up a steep hill with plug ins upgrading...too many...

I didn't say I'm not using wordclock cables in the setup...I have tried to WC everything setting either the 003 or the RME as master. They seem to lock as the leds on both machine stop blinking and...

They're not dropouts, more like loud, random clicks that mostly happen on the right channel.

My setup is
Digi 003 going ADAT > RME > analog to Dangerous 2 Bus LT
Digi analog outs > Dangerous 2...

I recently upgraded my LE setup to a 003R (with Factory bundle). I mix OTB going out to a Dangerous 2Buss LT thru an RME AD8-AE and the 003 analog outs, printing the mox back on 2 PT tracks...

Are you saying that you cannot assign more than 1 core to RTAS processing or that the OS only sees 1 of the 4 cores? The first case would be strange, the second one makes me think the OS hasn't been...

A defective pot, it's one of the flaws in that particular production run. I have the same thing, and a friend of mine too. He sent the C|8 in for repair (it was still under warranty) and it came back...

Just look up at Lode's hardware profile. I guess his two "GF" cards are NVidia Geforce models.
If you cannot fid those exact I belive the updated models will be fine too. Feedback report from users...

Cool It's a thing I'm thinking about, I think I'll be doing the same thing when I'll be upgrading my system to a new CPU. The latency though isn't graphic card dependent, it's the plasma screen...

There are several ways to have video playback out of PT.
The fact that the DV thru firewire doesn't work on the PC side depends on Digidesign and Apple I belive, because of the implementation of QT...

You said your licenses are on your iLok account, but did you actually transferred them on the iLok key? When you launch PT each plug in that needs a license seeks it up in the USB ilok key....

That's the best way to go past the 48 track limit. And if you run out of Aux buses there's always the possibility to group two mono tracks as a stereo one, leave the fader at 0 and use a dual mono...
