So I've got PT9 running on my Mac Pro with Complete Toolkit and I love it, but I can't write trim automation from the faders on my 002. Does anyone know if there's some special mode that has to be...

Re: PT9 HD with a non-Avid interface?

Thanks, that clarifies it for me. It's all a matter of the currently functioning audio driver. What non-Avid options are there for interfaces that support connection via Digilink (and therefore PT...

Re: PT9 HD with a non-Avid interface?

That's what I'm getting at; will this new support for and integration of USB/Firewire interfaces allow them to be operated from within Pro Tools HD? Or are you still limited here?

So could I get a Pro Tools HD Core Card to run PT9 HD and then use a non-Avid interface like an RME Fireface, MOTU interface, or M-Audio interface? Sure would be nice to be able to run TDM plugins...

Re: So no problems with Tiger and PTLE?

If my experience is any indication, you're going to see a nasty drop in RTAS performance. I still don't know what the deal is, but my computer performs pitifully in Pro Tools, even though it's a...

Re: Any new BUFFER -6086/6093 tricks?????

I sincerely hope my firewire port isn't fried!! Man that would suck, huh?

You know though, I could certainly be making a foolish mistake by plugging the 002 into the firewire port on the front of...

Re: Digi 002 and SMPTE or other timecode?

Okay, so if a MIDI device doing LTC/MTC is all I need, along with SPDIF, then is the 002 by itself adequate? It has MIDI built in, so can it handle this?
