ok guys, I got drum kits from hell, how do you guys use them?

how do i bounce down to an mp3 so i can burn a disc?

i windows xp and have windows media player
and I have a cd burner.. how do i take a recorded idea and convert it or bounce it or whatever, and take it of protools and burn a disc of it off media...

Grid use, one hits and time stretching, also good sites for good one hit sample

When using one hits and the grid for mapping out beats, do you need to time stretch or adjust for tempo on the one hits? Or is it fine to just place them on the grid and go?

What is the point of stereo tracks?
Shouldn't everything be recorded in mono?

I know you would do stereo tracks for something say drum overheads, but what other applications would this be...
