Strike all that. The problem is still there. Loud pop at playback stop followed by no more playback. Must restart Pro Tools to get sound again.

Very frustrating.

I don't believe the E key can be configured to change the cursor into the zoom tool.

Yeah I know about the two zoom tool functions. Kenny is going zoom zoom zoom. So I guess he is just keeping his finger up there on the F-[] key and hitting it over and over quickly.

Reinstalled Kontakt 4 and did a combo upgrade to 10.6.2.

I am using the Kontakt Player to play my Akoustik Piano library. After playback when I hit the STOP button there is sometimes a very loud noise output from Kontakt Player. Could damage speakers it...

I saw a great de-ess technique video and was all excited until I found out that it only works in HD with dynamic voices.

BUT... you can still do it in LE

It is labor intensive with either HD...

Even if the EQ is out of the circuit you are still listening to a pickup that has its own EQ characteristics designed into it by a human somewhere. I hope you love that person's ear.
