WOW! just heard the news! I have an apogee duet that i use to track in Logic and transfer the omf to Pro Tools.

Planning on having PT9 the day its release so i'll be testing it with the Duet...

Using Pro Tools as Sound Module with MPC 2000xl

Hi Everyone. I have an issue that i cant figure out. Im trying to use Pro Tools as a sound module and do all my sequencing on the MPC.

I thought this was done by going to Preferences > Default...

Any ideas anyone? I have no audio cables connected. Only the usb...and still..if i set an aux track to input 1-2 i get that feedback...or if i set an audio rack to input 1-2 and hit record...

Hi, i have a G5 PPC 2.7 Ghz with only 3 Gigs of Ram :( But have been able to run PT8 on it smoothly so far. I have not put it to the test yet with virtual instruments or huge track counts.

so to recap...

MPC 2000xl used to sync fine with PT 7.3 and any previous version.

With 7.4,...

Logic does, yes. If i set a loop, the synced device (slave) will stay in sync. But with PT lately, cant get it to.
