I have the same problem on my PC. Sometimes it will record and not stop. Then I end up with single audio tracks 2 gigs or more, and I can't delete them. I have to use my tower to erase the huge files.

OK. I was using pro tools 6.9 LE on my mac. I updated to 7.0 and now the system can't fimd my 002r rack. It loads until it says "unable to locate digidesign Hardware..." turn on hardware and press ok...

Got the new harness and power supply. Working great. Thanks for the help. BTW it was faster to instal the new stuff than waiting for customer service.

I have to slap the damn thing to make it come on sometimes, and then after a half hout or so, it does it again. Is this a common problem?

Sometimes when I transfer files from ADAT that have a start time like say 35min pro tools will hang and try and create 35 min of blank audio. Then I end up with a session that is 30 gigs and a beast...

I have one, and it depends on how you use it. It's pretty warm sounding when recording on digital, but never, ever ever ever run it through a tube preamp. That might explain the "darkness" some...
