yeah this is very strange indeed!
in pro tools 10 i can click on the pro tools icon in the task bar minimize and maximize to my hearts content, but in pro tools 11.2.2 no go!!

Well I read somewhere in these forums about upgrading the os to win 8.1 pro and having seen some issues disappear.
So did just that and it worked, so now
