Good luck...

Re: Folder re-organization hell!!

Hey Howard,
Welcome to PT. This has been an issue for quite some time and you can find many threads discussing this. Usually, I don't put any version in the session folder, just the name and reel....

Re: Sound FX Library - Recommendations

Off the top of my head there is only the SOS (Sounds of Speed) but it features only a few Ferraris (1996 though) bys and pit stops and so on. It has more bys and stuff for indie cars and some Toyota...

Re: Suggestions for the making skiing gate SFX

1. Get a foley stage for 1 hour, have them try certain things (they know what they're doing! see what they come up with) and then when you are happy with the sound, have them do it wild or to your...

Re: Import session data

To me overlaying the playlist is too unreliable when it comes to automation. I have enjoyed match tracks and overlaying but since it killed on occasions the automation i will NOT use it again....

Re: Cell phone rings: is it legal to use them in a film

Our general rule about this matter is the following: if you see a Nokia you can use a Nokia sound, if you see a Treo, iPhone, Windows computer screen, or a mac screen etc., you can use the signature...

Re: Feat. Request - Grid mode preference

Deal! But you don't have to let go of it entirely. Just ask for a setting in the preferences where we could turn it on or off. Now let's hope for many more fixes and improvements from digi. That's...

Re: BWAV format question

Sorry, forgot to mention that you can time stamp and export a file directly out of the region bin by clicking on the regions pull down menu and make your selection. When exporting choose .wav.

Re: BWAV format question

Open a new PT session in the BWF (.wav) file format, import your track and bounce it. The new file will be timecode stamped and will match pix wherever you need it
