Thanks for the reply here. FYI, Protools 12 does work with High Sierra which is 10.13.6

Well.... distorted, but there is a white noise in there as well.... so....not sure how to answer that. You can hear the basic melody being sung and words on the vocal track, but muddled amongst...

Hello all!

Running HighSierra on a Mac.

Created the OMF 2.0 file on an older computer
Specs on file are as follows:

Timecode format: 30
Audio bit depth: 0, 32
Audio sample rate: 48000

So it turns out that upon closer inspection the sample libraries vanished from that external disk I mentioned, or perhaps were never fully copied...

Ben,

I have moved the libraries to an external drive because they are too large to keep on the hard drive. Not really understanding how to do what you're suggesting. Perhaps you would clarify?

Thank you! Turns out you were right. I actually had 2 other click tracks. Found them lurking on the Tracks list. Deleted them and that solved the issue.

If your Protools 12 sessions crash upon opening/ try this

Before selecting the file to open, hold down SHIFT. This will deactivate plugins and allow you to find the offending one that causing the crash. At least this works on a mac.

Thanks Ben for that info.

When I go to the clips list and right click on a clip there is a "clear" option. I will see what happens when I select that. If file disappears I'll check the trash.

I think I figured it out. There were missing clips that the program was struggling to find. I think that's what has caused the issue.

I created a new file and am importing...
