Thanks! Still not sure it makes sense to go HD12 tho since I don't have HD hardware. Any idea if there are features in the HD12 that non-HD hardware users would want/need/use?

You are correct!

Why the separate iLok? Worried I'm I gonna have grief with all the other stuff I have on my existing iLok key/account - both in terms of using my considerable library of plug ins...

I bought Complete Production Toolkit to get some of the features in HD that I wanted. Then Avid got rid of CPTK and put us on an HD upgrade path.
Now afaik all the features I needed are now in...

I'm logging into my account on Avid.com, opening my account -> my products and subscriptions and then clicking on links under "Product Details and Download Links"

None of the links work. Tried...

I think the site is dead again.

Been trying to download the AIR plug ins. But anything I try to download from my AVID products page gives me: "can't find the server at akmedia.digidesign.com."

I'll hold tight and try again...

Finally spent some quality time with this plug this weekend. All I can say is very few plug in makers get me going "holy crap I love this" the way FabFilter does. I'm sold.

Sounds like the problem I was having when I downloaded 32 bit AAX plug ins. Try removing these (just find them using Trasher and move them to another folder) and using the non-AAX versions and see...

I was finally ready to buy PT 11 HD. But my password doesn't work on the AVID side nor does the PW reset. Is Avid's LDAP messed up or something?

Why is everything AVID so frustrating?
