ok, thanks for the suggestion.
Unfortunately there is no "I/O" option in the Setup menu for Pro Tools First.
Not sure what else I can try?

How do I access the I/O setup?
The only option I see for Output is what shows in the screenshot in my previous post.
As for buffer settings, see attached screenshot, I've tried...

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delayed response, I tried changing the routing in a very basic project (just 1 track with XPand!2 loaded), but still getting the same noise issue, and there is a high latency...

Hi guys,
Sorry taking me some time to get an audio sample of the noise I'm hearing.
I saved a sample of the noise as a .wav file, but I guess I can't attach a .wav file to my post?
any suggestions...

ok, thanks, will try the adaptor for my audio interface and see if that works
I tried settings suggested for my Sound panel in the most recent post, but still the same problem, no playback in Pro...

ok, thanks, so I need to get an adaptor that works with the audio interface and use that rather than the usb for power.
Is this an issue unique to Pro Tools? With other DAWs I've been able to use...

ok, thanks, windows is not using my audio interface, but when I open Pro Tools, still getting the error "Pro Tools hardware is either not installed or used by another program"

ok, thanks, the sound I hear on loop is not the midi sounds, just a harsh noise that repeats infinitely
