It appears to be a new problem with PT11 on Windows.

When I want to work on sessions at different sample rates, my only solution is to open PT11, then connect a second soundcard so Windows can use...

Sorry but I've read everywhere but can't find the answer.

I currently have PT8 M-Powered plus licences for X-Form and Hybrid. Will they still work in PT9?

I currently run Pro Tools 8 LE on Windows XP. If I upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit, then...

1) Will Pro Tools run in 64 bit?
2) Will I have access to more RAM?

I don't think any software / hardware combination is guaranteed against one-off glitches. If you can't duplicate the problem then I'd say you have had some luck :)

Maybe, but I tried some RAM monitor software that showed plenty of headroom during the session, and I can run loads of other plug-ins without problems. I wondered if Omnisphere and RTAS don't work so...

Ideally you would have an interface with 8 inputs so you could record each microphone separately. This is the normal approach, it means you can then adjust the level / eq / effects / pan etc for each...

Somebody on another thread suggested I increase my RAM to 4GB and place a /3GB switch into my boot.ini file, then I'd get a further 1GB of RAM working for my plug-ins.
