thanks guys, I did update my focusrite drivers as a test and did experience the stutter freeze although not as frequent... I've gone ahead and ordered an RME babyface pro, crossing fingers it works...

Right, I feel ya. I am only concerned with stability at this point. I'd much rather have to find a creative work around to less IO than deal with tech malfunctions.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll try 10.10.5 w/ 10.3.2 but and working with built-in audio.. would I just us an aggregate audio device w/ the focusrite interface?

I'm considering upgrading from my mbox 2 pro and PT10 to an HD omni with PT11D Native OR just upgrading to PT11 LE to save $$$.

I did try the pre binding script again and no luck. I think I'll try going back an OS... do I just download the later version and it automatically replaces the new?
