Try going to the library on your hard drive (instead of your account library) and see if you can find any audiomidi preferences in that preference folder. I also deleted some things in there. I don't...

It's in your user folder library. Go to the preferences folder in there and look for com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist and delete that.

I think I may have gotten it solved. I trashed my audiomidi preferences and now I can past the startup screen! It only took me 6 hours to figure this out!

Nope. Didn't help at all. I don't see how we can configure the program if the program won't open. I've done several clean uninstalls and reinstalls and still no progress. Clearly I'm not the only one...

This is on a MBP. I want to be able to use it with the built in hardware and I can't find any core audio drivers to install. I uninstalled PT, restarted, reinstalled, repaired permissions, installed...
