Before I got the chance to try the suggested workaround, iLok.com tech support got back to me and said they reset something on my account and I should try "sync/repair" with the affected iLok.

This problem has come back, only I'm now stuck at 44.1k, and can't get CoreAudio to work at anything but 44.1k. Above, I said I could change it in AudioMIDI setup. That was true then, but no longer....

Update: I still can't change the sample rate (even if no clients are connected) via the "HW Setup..." button in Avid CoreAudio Manager.

But I can change it in AudioMIDI Setup, and can at least get...

I updated to the latest PT HD 10.2.0.140 yesterday (and Lion 10.7.4). Ran a mastering session all day at 96k, no issues.

Today I launched soundBlade LE and it refuses to talk to the Avid CoreAudio...

I assume you figured this out, but you have to show the HEAT area on the right of your Mix window by clicking the little "|<-" indicator in the lower right corner.

I just got an upgrade for MOTU Ethno 2 and it came with a license card to put the asset on my iLok. Now that I've done this, is there any reason for me to keep the license card?

Those (C269,C255,C210) all look fine too. I can't find anything visually wrong with the card anywhere, and the seller says it passed DigiTest when it left him.

Mostly for ergonomic reasons. In terms of I/O, I've never used more than two channels of I/O simultaneously on my 002R anyway; it's just not the sort of work I do (solo studio composition).
