From what it sounds like 5.3.1 is the software that ties it all the previous versions of PT...

Just got news from my dealer that an all digital 192 I/O is shipping for $2,495. Bravo Digi! A step in the right direction.

Glad it works for you. I just have the 24X as my fastest CD/RW. So far everything works well at that speed for me.

Only thing I can say is try burning at the 32X maximum that Toast...

Ignore this if I got it wrong, but when the keyboad dialog pops up you should de-select (un check) the ENABLE HOT FUNCTION KEYS.

This will allow you to use the FKeys in ProTools again.

the Zimmer photo showed the Giga Studio on a Pioneer 40" Flat Panel. Those would display a VGA input. But the prices are still high . . . around $7K

If people think investing in a Mac is a bad investment, it is no better than with a PC. I built a PIII 733 two years ago as a gaming computer. While cheaper than my G4, I think it has even less...

A blinking "?" means your G3 cannot find a valid startup disk.

Try disconnecting your SCSI disks and restart. See it this cures it. If it does it is something with your SCSI connection.

Have done a ton of TV commercials (stereo only) without a mixer. I have also done a few albums that way. For what I do it is fine as I have to do a ton of revisions very fast and rarely exceed a 32...
