Thanks fo the reminder. I'll turn it back on. That said, myself and my engineer are the only users and this computer is dedicated to PT. No email, no iffy websites, etc. So, probably not an issue...

WORKING!!! Disabling SIP did it! These were the steps I took:
1. Uninstall HD driver
2. Disable SIP (details above from Lucien)
3. Reinstall HD driver
4. Restart
5. Open PT

It's back in Slot 2. Expansion Slot Utility shows it as "Unknown Other Multimedia Card, Width: 4x, Speed: Gen1)

BUT, nothing is showing up in DigiTest. Hmmm.

Having trouble making the switch to the new Mac Pro, today. No matter which PCI slot I try, PT doesn't recognize the pair of HD I/O's connected to the HDX1.

I'm running PT 2020.5 on a 16-core...

Hi Meads, my error on the original "both HDX cards" post. It's just one HDX card. I have a couple of UAD cards as well. Thanks, though.

HD I/O Not Recognized After Upgrading to PT10 & HDX
