I should clarify, Rob does not have Pro Tools HD so no, the upgrade will not be to the Pro Tools 2018 Ultimate. Just Pro tools 2018.4 (unultimate).

I should qualify this: Not "Ultimate," but just 2018.4. Being just the tech help I missed the nuance that "PT 12 | HD" became "Ultimate" and regular Pro Tools 12 became just Pro Tools 2018. So going...

A year ago Sweetwater did the entire setup on an iMac for Pro Tools 12.7.1, and the OSX level was 10.12.3. The Pro Tools Operating System Compatibility Chart shows PT 12.7.1 even today...

I am the "tech friend" for the Pro Tools user here (Rob Morton), and after a year of him doing no upgrades (Mac OS or Pro Tools), I hope in one visit to bring him up to being as current as possible....
