avid messaged me and it was a link to the optimizations that ive ALREADY done. i even said i already did them in my complaint. this is beyond frustrating, and even more so knowing how they treat...

new update: I closed all windows except for midi editor, and it got slightly better, but when i was playing the song and editing the the composition at the same time, things were normal. everything...

what is a sandra report? i've got 12GB of ram and protools only uses a max of 8 i believe. all other apps have been shut down. i read somewhere about not having the edit window open while youre doing...

I can not find anything related to floppy ANYWHERE, in my bios. I think that may be a possible fix but I can't find any videos or anything that are using the bios I use to turn it off. My bios looks...

So this is probably he only suggestion that I found that I didn't try. I couldn't find it in he bios anywhere and my bios looks different than every other one I've seen. I had a cd in the cd drive so...

no exclamation points in device manager and i've made sure all drivers are up to date. didn't add a midi controller. whenever i drag over some midi notes or click a certain part of a track, it takes...

i've shut everything down and disabled the network adapter to check if it was cpu usages or otherwise. my system drive is SSD and the drive i record to and have samples on is a 7200 rpm 1 TB drive.

pro tools is on system drive and recording to a seperate 7200 rpm drive.
sometimes i use samples, but it happens on the project i just created with nothing but 3 midi notes in it. samples are kepts...

idk what optimizations you're talking about, but i looked everywhere in my bios and could not find a floppy or legacy drive to disable. saw that suggestion in a lot of videos, but all of the videos...

I have been using pro tools for about 6 years now. I've had my share of issues with installing it and getting things to work through compatibility issues. So many so that i have a midi controller...
